World

World
There was a village named Subarnapur situated at a distance of twelve miles from the town Narail in spiritual world. It was a beautiful and quiet village with tree shades and bird's chattering. There was a big lake in the village called Rani Dighi The land lord of Narail dug that lake. The name of the lake was fixed in the name of queen mother Rani Rajlaksmi. The lake was very deep. The water of the lake was blackish and clear. There were many fishes in the lake.

Mr. Jagat lived in that village. He was the headmaster of primary school of that village. He was fond of angling. He used to take all opportunities in that regard. In one holyday he took a seat to catch fish by hook from that lake with the permission of village chairman. There was a fig-tree on the bank of the lake. Mr. Jagat stretched a mat on the base of the fig-tree. He sat on the mat inclining his body to the fig-tree. He fixed the hook with a stick on the edge of the lake. A gentle wind was blowing. He felt much comfort. Ripe figs were droping from the tree to the lake-water and making sweet musical sounds. In that comfortable environment he easily fell into a deep sleep.
Mr. Jagat was dreaming. He saw in his dream various kinds of fishes were wandering in the lake. There was a big sheat-fish who was leader of all fishes in the lake. The rest fishes used to obey its leadership and inform all prolems and news of the lake to it. The leader fish used to play the role of an arbitrator. One day a small fish named puti asked the leader fish, "Leader, I've a friend who've told me that we live in water. Is it correct?"

Leader-fish: I've also heard the matter.
Puti-fish: If we live in water then what is and where is that water?
Leader-fish: I can't say anything.
In the meantime another small puti-fish came and said, " All of you can't feel what the water is because we used to live in water from our birth. We don't know the difference between water and other things. For that reason we've no feel of water. But incidentally I got the opportunity to feel the water. Everyone resounded coincidentally "How did you feel  the water?"

Puti-fish: One day I commited a mistake to take food from a hook and I was caught. The angler rised me from the water and put me into his pot but I jumped and I could back to the water. He couldn't catch me again. So long I remained over water I could feel the difference between water and land. Anyone of you didn't go out of water. So you've no feel regarding the difference between water and land. None can feel water remaining inside it. To feel water we've to go out of it.

World
When Mr. Jagat was sleeping with snore and wandering in the dreamland his son Sajal came and guessed that a fish had been caught in the hook. As the angle was fastened with a stick the fish couldn't escape. Sajal said to his father, "Dad, are you sleeping? A fish has been caught." With the call of the son Mr. Jagat suddenly awoke. He asked, "What, has a fish been caught?" Mr. Jagat began to role up the the thread of the angle. He guessed that the fish would be a big one. He suddenly pulled the angle. A big fish was thrown to the edge of the lake. As soon as Mr. Jagat tried to catch the fish by hand the fish jumped back to the lake-water tearing the thread. Mr. Jagat became hopeless. He stoped angling in that day.

Mr. Jagat was thinking lonely in his house. The scenes of the dream what he saw at the time of angling were coming one after another in the screen of his mind. An invisible one told him silently, "Though fishes live in water yet they can't feel water. The difference between water and land is not clear to them. Similarly everyman has two worlds. One is material and other is spiritual. Before death we live in earthly lives and after death our souls live in spiritual world. Those we're in earthly lives we can't feel the spiritual world. On the other hand after our death not all the souls can feel the difference between the two BEHIND YOUR VISION worlds. In the case of ill developed souls they can't feel the difference between two worlds even after death. Only spiritually developed soul can feel the difference between the two worlds correctly. So usually it remains mysterous for one to feel the world in what he doesn't live.

Lighted man

I had a friend named Anowar. He was slightly elder than me. For that reason I used to submit due respect to him. Though I was younger than he yet he also expressed due respect to me in return. Still existing age difference there was a cordial friendship between us. Both of we used to tell our life-secrets to one another. So a real friendly relationship was developed between us, day by day.

Lighted man

One day when I was seated in my optical shop suddenly I remembered Mr. Anowar. Near about a month was passed I had no meet with him. He went for a tour to his homeland West-Begal. Of course he informaed me before his tour. There is a saying - "out of sight out of mind" & "BEHIND YOUR VISION"That was reflected on me. I thought that- he had gone to his homeland after a consi derable period so he had no feel to return early. But why in that time I rembered him suddenly after a month? Thinking so when I threw my vision infront of my shop I saw Mr. Anowar was standing. I became astonished and said to him, "I'm remembering you just now and you've really come in the meantime. It's very intersting’’ He replied, "I'm coming today to your shop, this information has been received in your heart by an unknown spiritual telepathy and that's why you're remembering so" I replied "Exactly so. Really there is a spiritual net work and response between our hearts and by that response we can receive the information of any incident which is going to be materialized in future. Of course if heart is not much transparent then the spiritual impulse can't be received."
I made un arrangement of tea-refreshment on the arrival of Mr. Anowar. I asked him, "How did you spend the time so long?" He replied, "Iwas very fine by the grace of the Almighty. The cause of my late was- I had an extra tour programme to visit the "Ajmir shareef" the holy shrine of the great saint HazratKhowaja Moinuddin Chisty (Rh)’’. I further asked him. "Why did you decide to visit to 'Ajmir Sharif' so suddenly?" He replied "I've two daughters but no son. To get a son I went there and submitted my prayer. I hope that by the advocay of that great saint the Almighty'll give me a son" I said to him, "You've done a very good deed. I also hope that you'll get a son offspring.”

Lighted man

A young Lighted man was seated in the shop. His appearance was expressing that he was a gentle and educated Lighted man. He came to purchase a pair of spectaeles. He was listening our conversations silently. He ultimately asked me, "Uncle, may I ask a question to you?” “I replied” Yes, why not, if necessary you may ask several questions.” He said, "The Almighty is our creator. He reserves all powers. Nothing can be occured without his wish. He gives us every thing. So we should have to submit our prayers only to him. He can grant our prayers. But why we go to the graves of deceased persons to submit our prayers. Is there any significance to do that?" I replied, "My dear, your questions is obviously an elementary one. There is answer also. Undoubtedly the Allmighty reserves all powers. If he wants he can express his message from the sky with a loud voice but he doesn't do so. He used to send his message for the mankind through his selected person. It is his rule that without medium his messages couldn’t come directly. Then how can you expect that your words and prayers will reach to the Almighty without medium. For that reason the Almighty has expressed in his sacred book the importance of taking the guidance of medium. His selected persons are the proper media. In the age of prophets they were the media. They used to advocate to the Almighty for the salvation of mankind. The Almighty also used to accept their advocacy. The present age is the age of prophet's representatives. They are also the selected persons of the Almighty. Now they’re the media through which common people can communicate with the Almighty. They advocate to the Almighty for the salvation of mankind and also for the grant of their prayers. They guide us to run in right path. Though they die yet their souls remain active. So we can easily submit our prayers to the Almighty through them. Though the Almighty knows and can hear everything yet it is his rule that he hears, considers and grants the prayers of common people through the arbitration of his selected persons. There is a materialistic example. In the court of justice none can submit directly his plaint to the judge without pleader. So for the grant of our prayer to the Almighty we've also to take proper media that's the selected and lighted persons of the Almighty. Do you understand my point? The young BEHIND YOUR VISION Lighted man replied "Yes, now it is clear to me ."

After a year I was in my shop as usually. Mr. Anower came and gave a good news that his wife had borne a son baby. I congratulated him remembering the advocacy of the great saint Hazrat Khawaja Moinuddin Chisty (RH) of Ajmir.

Eternal Cup-bearer

As everyday performance Mr. Hasan went out for a morning walk in that day also. It was the time of dawn. He was walking inattentively. Even he didn't trace when he came near the river side. The river Vairab was streaming with murmuring sounds. The boats and launchs started their journies with passengers. Crossing over the river was started in the ferry. Black smokes began to emit from the chimnies of the brick-fields. Leaving apert the inertness and silence of the night the locality was gradually becoming busy.

Mr. Hasan sat on the roots of a banyan tree on the bank of the river. The roots were exposed due to water erosion. The time was in hightide. The tidal water was tumbling on the roots. Mr. Hasan’s vision was caught in the east-sky. He saw the scarlet morning sun was expressing ownself gradually. How beautiful the appearance was! Mr. Hansan became charmed. He thought that the sun was radiating golden rays on the earth unmiserly. It has no partiality. It used to radiate its rays evenly to all. It doesn't classify anything. If we become deprived of its light then it must be due to our faults. It's equal for all. Its rays’re just like nectar which revive everything of the earth. In the bar the cup-bearer’s cup ultimately becomes empty but the sun is such a eternal cup-bearer whose cup of nectar-rays never becomes empty. Just like the sun the Almighty is also may be considered allegorically as a holy, supreme and eternal cup-bearer whose cup of mercy remains everful and is continuously dispersing everywhere in the unvierse and never becomes empty.

Mr. Hasan's vision was reflected on the river water. The river-water was streaming uninterruptedly. The red fruits of the banyan tree which were droping off making sweet musical notes and creating innumerable bubbles which were floating for sometimes and marging back to the river water shortly after. They were again marging there where from their momentary existences were creating. The contemplative mind of Mr. Hasan was absorbed in an induction of incomprehensible thinking world. An unknown one said into his inner ears spiritually "Our lives are also just like those bubbles. We used to remain alive with our identites within the infinite existence of the Almighty for sometime and we again become merged into that infinite existence through our deaths. Mr. Hasan remembered well known quatrains of the famous persian poet Omar Khaium.
Oh, my Eternal Cup-bearer,
The nectar what you're pouring on the earth
Is blooming innumerable bubbles
In the eternal stream.
Millions of lives like thy and me
Are floating on that stream.
Someone comes and someone goes
But your cup remains ever full.
Mr. Hasan stood up to return home. He was walking in the street with a thoughtful mind. The sun rose up considerably in the meantime. Its tempered golden rays were dispersing light to the whole earth.

Body Kingdom

Mr. Debdut is a government employee. Recently he has been transferred from Rajshahi to Rangamati. He is in a service in Education Department. He is the chief of his new office. He is now on the way of understanding the present situation of his new office. Near about a month has been passed. One day his wife Mrs. Radha asked him, "What's the present condition of your new office. Recently it seems  you're some how  anxious. Is there any problem in your office?"
Mr. Debdut: I'm observing an interesting matter in my office.
Mrs. Radha: What's that matter?
Mr Debdut: Maximum employees of our office are local men. To understand them keenly I've taken individual interview. I've found there're two groups in our office of which one is rival to other. In one group there is a member named Mr. Conscience. He always gives me good advices . In this group there're another five members, who're Mr. Brain, Mr. Eye, Mr. Nose, Mr. Mouth and Mr. ear. Mr. Brain keeps all informations in his computer. He is more or less impartial because both the groups take help from him at the  time of their needs. Mr. Eye always observes the over all situation of the office and its surroundings and informs all things to the office chief. Mr. Nose informs the objectives of the incoming letters to the office-chief. Mr. Mouth acts as a receptionist and Mr. Ear maintains the transfer file. On the other hand the another group which is led by a woman named Mrs. Lust. She is always busy to derail me. She   gives me bad advices so that I'd grab Govt. money and I'd do other unfairmeans. Her vision is also very bad. She tries to capture me by her youth and beauty. There are also five members in her group. They are Mr. Anger, Mr. Greed, Mr. infatuation, Mr. Vanity and Mr. Envy. They are the fans of Mrs. Lust and work under her directions. Do you understand the situation of my office?
Mrs. Radha: Yes, transfer that woman to any other place.
Mr Debdut: They're centrally appointed employees and can't be transfered. In this situation I've to be so alert that Mrs. Lust's group couldn't capture me. I'm trying to control them.
After the conversation Mr. Debdut was thinking deeply. His Mrs. asked him, "Hi, what're you thinking so deeply" Mr. Debdut: The mystery of human body kingdom is just like our office.
Mrs. Radha: What's that?
Mr. Debdut: Our inner identities are our souls. Our souls are the parts of the Almighty. The Almighty has sent our souls to our bodies for the spiritual rectification and salvation by directing the bodies in correct paths and  by doing good deeds. There're also two groups in our bodies just like our office. One is the group of conscience and other is the group of passion. The conscience group always gives good advices to the soul but the passion-group always gives evil advices and tries to derail the soul. Soul is the king of the body kingdom. He has freedom what he'll do. So he may agree with any of the two groups. If the soul follows the instruction of conscience the result will be good and he will get heaven. On the contrary if the soul follows the evil suggestions of passions the result will be very bad and he will be punished under hell.
Mrs Radha: You've nicely explained the mystery of body kingdom with the example of your office.
Mr. Debdut: Human body kingdom is a complex field of mystery.

Lamp Insect

In the season cycle the late autumn was about to disappeared. Preparation of enforcing winter in the nature was started. A middle-aged man Mr. Ashique was coming back to his house after evening. He was advancing rapidly. Post lights’re passing one after another. He traced many lamp insects’re moving round the lights. A few of them were falling on his body also.

When Mr. Ashique entered into his house all of his children began to shout. They uttered jointly, “Dad, see, our rooms have become full of lamp insects. They’re falling on our bodies. How can we continue our study?” Mr. Ashique said to them, “In this condition you should have to hang a branch of tree or a cloth under the light. The insects’d sit on it and wouldn’t fall on your bodies.” Mr. Ashique stretched a white cloth under the light. The insects began to sit on it and stoped falling. The children became quiet and began to read their lessons. Mr. Ashique then sat on the sofa for rest.

Mr. Ashique was observing the activities of the lamp- insects. The insects’re moving round the light uninterruptedly. Moving round the light they’re ultimately becoming inert and were falling. So far their energy permitted they’re moving round the light. As it were they love the light very much and are sacrificing their lives for sac of that love. Seeing the scene Mr. Ashique became induced. He thought that if a man used to make himself induced in the love of the Almighty like those insects, the man would become spiritually salvated. He felt that the insects’re calling him to be induced like them. As it were they’re telling him, “Let us be a real lover of the Almighty. Burn yourself in the fire of love. Eliminate all passions. Be pure and perfect. Try to unite and be absorbed with the Almighty. Then you’ll get the taste of the spiritual union with the Almighty. Time is still waiting for you. Try to be a real spiritual lamp-insect.”

Base of a lighted lamp is dark

Mr. Maruf was a middle aged man. He was a government employee. His retirement was not far. He had two sons, two daughters and a wife. The elder daughter was a student of class ten, the elder son read in class eight, the younger son read in class six and the younger daughter  read in class four. One day Mr. Maruf was in rest after return from his office. Evening was about to come. Summon of evening prayer was announced. Mr. Maruf made ablution and stood for evening prayer. Just then the electricity failed. There was a single hurricane lantern in the house. Mr. Maruf’s wife lit it. After offering the prayer Mr. Maruf took seat in the drawing room.

The children entered into the reading room bringing the hurricane lantern. They put the lantern on the table and took their seats around.  Hurricane lantern created two shades in two sides. Children in shaded zones moved the lantern to get light in their sides. Others created objection. In that way they indulged themselves in a quarrel. Guessing the situation Mr. Maruf entered into reading room. He checked the situation. He told the younger ones, “You’re comparatively less aged. Let the elder ones to study as they’re student of higher classes than you. You’ll read after coming of electricity. Let’s come with me. I’ll tell you a charming story.” They agreed with him.

Mr. Maruf started to tell the story- Many years ago a king ruled a country. The king had an immense man-power as well as wealth. One day he wished to travel abroad. He informed his wish to his men. His men arranged everything for the travel. To the prior of his travel the king met everybody of the palace and asked, “I’ll go abroad. Tell me what is your desirable thing? I’ll bring that thing for you.” Everybody told the king about their desires. There was a parrot in the palace. It had been kept in an iron cage. It could talk like a man. Suddenly the king’s vision was reflected upon it. Coming near the king asked the bird, “Dear bird, I’ll go abroad. I’ve asked everybody of my palace about their desirable things except you. Please tell me what is your desirable thing? I’ll bring it for you.” The bird replied, “Your Excellency my lord, you’ve given me a good shelter with much care. I’ve no want. I used to get everything of my need before my demand. I’ve nothing to get any other desirable thing from you.” Hearing the speech of the bird the king said to it, “No, it’ll not be correct. I’ll bring the desirable things of all members of my palace, whereas if I’ll not bring anything for you, it would be very bad as you’re also a member of my palace. Please want anything to me for you. I’ll fulfil your desire by the grace of Almighty.” Finding no other way the bird replied, “Your Excellency my lord, you’ve to suffer a little for that.” The king replied, “What’s that?” The bird said, “There is a country far from here named ‘Kadimsthan’. That’s my home-land. There is a big banyan tree in that country. My close relatives live in that tree. If you go towards my country and if you’ll be able to find out the banyan tree you’ll tell them, “Oh birds, one of your offsprings lives in my palace under my supervision who’s sent a salutation for you.” If you do that, it would be enough for me.” The king replied, “It’s not any hard job for me. I’ll do that for you.”

The king started his travel. Many days, weeks, months were passed. The king traveled many countries. He collected all desirable things for the members of his palace. Then he started his return journey. Suddenly he remembered the bird’s word. He asked his minister, “Do you know how far the country ‘Kadimsthan’is from here? It’s the country of the bird of our palace. I’ve to go there.” The minister replied, “ It is not too much far from here.” The king ordered him to direct the travel towards that country. Approaching towords the correct way they reached the country. Searching a lot they became able to find out the banyan tree where many parrots were chattering. The king understood that these parrots were the relatives of his parrot. He addressed them, “Oh birds, one of your offsprings lives in my palace under my supervision. It has sent a salutation for you.” Immediately after hearing the king’s address an old parrot fell down from the tree and became inert like dead. Seeing the scene the king thought that- perhaps the bird was either father or mother of his bird. Knowing the prisoned condition of its offspring it became unbearable and dead. The king became very sad.

After return from the travel the king gave desirable things to all members of his palace but he didn’t go near the bird. He thought that if he had informed the bird about the death news of its relative the bird would be unable to bear the affection and would surely die. He loved the bird very much. So he decided not to disclose the death news of its relative to it. On the other hand the bird thought that perhaps the king had forgotten his matter. The bird became very sad thinking about its own ill-fate. With a very mournful mind it was spending its time.

One day the king came near the bird’s cage heedlessly. The bird got an opportunity to talk with him. The bird offered due salutation to him and asked, “Your Excellency my lord, did you go to my country?” The king replied, “Yes, I went there.”
The bird : Did you submit my salutation to my relatives?
The king : Yes, I submitted.
The bird : Did they do anything for me?
The king : I can’t say anything about the incident what was happened there.
The bird : Why my lord?
The king : It was a sad news. You can’t bear it. If you hear it then it may create any bad affect.
The bird : My lord, staying a long period in your palace I’ve made my mind too able to bear all sorrows. Now my mind is much strong. Any types of sad news can’t upset me. You may disclose it without any hesitation.

On repeated requests of the bird the king ultimately expressed the death news of its relative. Immediately after hearing the death news the bird began to flap severely and ultimately became inert and laid down inside the cage as if it were dead. The king called the minister and said to him, “The incident which already happened here what I had suspected before. The bird has died. For that reason I didn’t express the death news of its relative so long. But when I had expressed the death news today the bird didn’t tolerate. I’ve committed a great mistake. Now we’ve nothing to do.” The king ordered the minister to open the lock of the cage and bring the bird out and bury it in the flower-garden. The minister unlocked the cage and brought out the bird and put it on the floor. At that very moment the bird flew off and sat on high tree. The king, minister and other men of the palace became highly astonished. The bird said to the king from the tree, “Your Excellency my lord, I was prisoned in the iron cage in your palace for a long time. I thought a lot for my release but I didn’t get any way. When you told me about my desirable thing prior to you travel to abroad I remembered my guide bird. He used to solve our all problems. I thought that if I can inform him about my captivity he’ll must give me a solution. That’s why I sent information about my captivity tactfully by you by sending a salutation to my guide bird. He understood the matter and demonstrated the way of my release. He flapped, dropped down and acted like a dead. From his lesson I also understood the way of my release. That’s why I flapped and acted like a dead and I succeeded to escape myself from the iron cage prison. Now I’m free and I’ll go to my own country.” The bird began to fly and went behind the vision. The king, minister and all men of the palace became highly astonished and observed the liberation of the bird.

Mr. Maruf asked his children, “Do you know who composed this story?” Mr. Maruf said, “A great Persian saint Maolana Jalaluddin Rumi (Rh.). He wanted to express the lesson through the story that who’ll follow the lesson of real guide he’ll be able to over come his all problems. If we want the real emancipation of our souls we’ve to die before our deaths. That’s we’ve to leave our own sense and to follow the direction of spiritual guide. So if you follow the lessons of your parents, teachers and guide then you’ll be able to solve your problems. Do you understand the matter ? You’ll get more lessons from the story when you would be aged.”

The electricity came back after the completion of the story. Mr. Maruf said to his children, “Now go to your reading room  and make your lessons but remember that- don’t make any noise and quarrel.” The children entered into the reading room but a cluster of thinking didn’t go from the brain of Mr. Maruf. A picture of a hurricane lantern was flashed in the screen of his mind and an invisible man began to say in his inner ears- “When a lamp is put on, the dark goes away and when the lamp is put off, the dark overwhelms than and there. There is a fine game of hide and seek of light and dark in the nature. The light is an energy but what is the dark? It always lies by the side of light. What is there in the dark? When light was created the dark was in existence. Only there was dark every where. The light was created from the dark. The dark is the root of all creations. The dark is the initial power. The dark is infinite.

The representative of the Almighty creator the human baby is created in the dark mother-womb. The prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S.) achieved the light of Islam from the dark cave of the mountain Hera. The dark is a mysterious world. In many cases the dark is considered as the symbol of ignorance but in other sense the dark is root of  all knowledge and power. A lighted lamp spreads light to its surroundings but there always lies dark in its base. A lamp can’t eradicate the dark of its own base. The dark surrounds the light. The dark was in existence initially, it is in existence at present and will be existed in future. The dark emerged the light from its own breast. Light is so valuable only due to the existence of dark.”

Mr. Maruf remembered the great men of the world. They were just like lighted lamps. They spreaded the light of truth throughout the world but at their own places there remained the dark. The great man Goutama Budhya preached the message of non-violence and love to the organisms  but the men of his own country didn’t accept his message. They dishonoured and tortured him. Budhya preached his lesson to the places beyond the Great Himaloya. For that reason there are many budhists found in Tibet, China, Japan etc. The prophet Hazrat Muhammad (S) preached the message of Islam. The men of his motherland Mecca didn’t accept Islam and tortured him. He was bound to leave his motherland Mecca. He went to Medina where Islam was accepted. Mecca was remained dark. Due to continious torture by the people of Mecca the race of the prophet (S) was bound to migrate to Persia after his time. That’s why the light of Islam was  spreaded widely in Persia. The births of many saints in Persia are the evidences of the facts. All these events remind us the quotation- “Base of a lighted lamp is dark.”
